Here is a collection of photos capturing and documenting the construction of my end off the grid Baja Sur home that is currently being built at the end of the road in El Jalito( North of El Sargento and past Auga Caliente ). Also included is a 3D rendering showing the design and the submitted AutoCAD building plans viewable in .PDF format. This home has been named Casa Irie. I'm hoping that name captures my current perspective on things pretty well. Follow this link for my interpretation of irie.

Casa Irie will be a solar powered +/-1500 sq ft, 2 bedroom, 2.5 bath home with a infinity plunge pool plus a 515 ft2 garage.

My good friend Marco Antonio Lopez, a licensed civil engineer and renowned builder is running the project. See more of Marco's projects, both completed and in process at the Marco11 website.

As of the end of March we are starting the detail phase- where the finish details are in process and begining to appear( tile, windows, cabinets, plunge pool etc ). As such the floor slabs are in awaiting Marble to be laid, island and kitchen counters are formed with cabinets being constructed, window package ready for install, pool ready for tile and patio ready to be installed.
